The LABRE DX Contest 2024 has reaffirmed itself as one of the most important events in the global
amateur radio calendar, promoting not only healthy competition but also fraternity and respect
among enthusiasts worldwide. With impressive numbers and record participation, this year's contest

The presence of 695 radio amateurs from 112 different countries demonstrates the global reach of the event and the growing interest of the international community. QSO Distribution by Band
A banda de 40 metros foi a mais ativa, concentrando 36,3% dos QSOs, seguida pelas
bandas de 10 metros e 20 metros. Isso reflete as condições de propagação favoráveis e a
preferência dos operadores por essas frequências durante o evento.
Operating Modes
Most contacts were made in phone (PH), representing 68% of the total. Telegraphy (CW) remained
strong, highlighting the tradition and skill of operators who appreciate this classic mode of
communication.
Participation by Continent
The geographical diversity of the QSOs illustrates the contest's broad scope. Most international
contacts came from North America, Europe, and South America, but there were also significant
participations from Asia, Africa, and Oceania, enriching the participants' experience.
National Engagement by Federal Unit
The state of São Paulo (SP) led with 25.3% of national QSOs, followed by Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and
Santa Catarina (SC). The broad participation from all regions of Brazil demonstrates the enthusiasm
